1. Scope
These Academy Enrollment, Re-registration & Assessment Terms ("Academy Terms") apply specifically to all learners enrolled in courses and workshops offered through the Codingfigs Academy. They supplement and must be read together with our general Terms & Conditions, Payment Terms, and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
2. Enrollment
- Enrollment in a paid course is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment.
- Enrollment in a free course is confirmed upon registration.
- Each enrollment is personal to the registered learner and is non-transferable.
- You may not share your account or course access with any other person.
- Enrollment entitles you to access course materials, submit assessments, and receive a certificate upon successful completion, subject to these terms.
3. Access Period & Expiry
- Each enrollment carries a fixed access period (typically 12 months from the date of enrollment, as configured by the platform at the time of your enrollment).
- The access period is displayed on your enrollment confirmation and in your course progress page.
- If you do not complete the course within the access period, your enrollment will be marked as Expired and access to course materials will be suspended.
- Your submitted answer sheets, project submissions, and evaluation records are preserved after expiry but are associated with the expired enrollment only.
- Expiry of an enrollment does not affect any certificate previously issued under that enrollment.
- Codingfigs may, at its discretion, grant expiry exemptions to individual learners in exceptional circumstances.
4. Re-registration
Re-registration allows a learner whose enrollment has expired or been withdrawn to enroll in the same course again. The following terms govern re-registration:
- Eligibility: Re-registration is available to any learner whose prior enrollment has the status Expired or Withdrawn. Learners with an active or completed enrollment in the same course are not eligible for re-registration in that course.
- Fee: Re-registration requires payment of the full course fee applicable at the time of re-registration. This fee may differ from the original enrollment fee.
- Fresh Enrollment: Re-registration creates a completely new, independent enrollment with a fresh access period starting from the date of re-registration payment.
- No Carry-over of Submissions: Answer sheets, project submissions, and evaluations from prior enrollments are not carried over to the new enrollment. You must resubmit all required assessments under the new enrollment to be eligible for a certificate.
- Prior Certificates Unaffected: Any certificate issued under a prior completed enrollment remains valid and is not revoked or affected by re-registration.
- Non-refundable: Re-registration fees are non-refundable. By paying the re-registration fee, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily re-enrolling with full knowledge of these terms.
- Availability: Re-registration is only available for courses that are currently published and accepting enrollments. Codingfigs reserves the right to discontinue any course at any time.
- No Limit: There is no limit on the number of times a learner may re-register for the same course, subject to payment of the applicable fee each time.
5. Assessments & Submissions
- Courses may include chapter quizzes (written answer sheets or MCQ quizzes), a final project, and/or a final viva voce (oral examination).
- Written assessments: Answer sheets must be submitted as scanned handwritten documents in PDF or image format. Each written assessment may only be submitted once per enrollment. Resubmission is not permitted under the same enrollment.
- MCQ quizzes: Multiple-choice quizzes are auto-graded upon submission. Each MCQ quiz allows multiple attempts (the maximum number of attempts is configured per assessment and displayed on the quiz page; the default is 3 attempts). Only your latest attempt is considered for grading.
- Viva voce: Oral examinations are scheduled by the academic team. You must book a slot and attend the viva voce within the scheduled time. Each viva voce assessment may be booked up to the maximum attempts configured for that assessment.
- Final project: The final project report must be submitted as specified in the course instructions. Each project submission may only be submitted once per enrollment, unless resubmission is explicitly permitted after evaluation feedback.
- Submitted answer sheets and projects are evaluated by Codingfigs's academic team. Evaluation timelines are typically 7–14 business days but may vary.
- You will be notified by email when your submission has been evaluated.
- Evaluation scores and grades are final. Appeals may be submitted to academic@codingfigs.com within 7 days of receiving your evaluation result.
6. Academic Integrity
- All submitted work must be your own original work.
- Plagiarism, copying, impersonation, or submission of AI-generated content as your own work is strictly prohibited.
- Violation of academic integrity will result in disqualification of the submission, potential cancellation of the enrollment without refund, and may result in account suspension.
- Codingfigs reserves the right to use plagiarism detection tools on submitted work.
7. Assessment Anti-Cheating Measures
When anti-cheating protection is enabled for an assessment by the platform or course administrator, the following rules apply during MCQ quizzes, written assessments, and project submissions:
- Right-click disabled: The browser context menu (right-click) is disabled during the assessment. You may only select options using left-click.
- Copy, paste & cut blocked: Keyboard shortcuts for copying (Ctrl+C), pasting (Ctrl+V), cutting (Ctrl+X), and related actions (Ctrl+U, Ctrl+S, Ctrl+P, Ctrl+A, etc.) are blocked.
- Screenshot detection: Print Screen, screen capture tools, and screen recording/casting are detected and blocked. Attempting to take a screenshot will trigger a warning.
- Tab switching detection: Switching to another browser tab or application window during the assessment is tracked and triggers a warning.
- Developer tools blocked: Browser developer tools (F12, Ctrl+Shift+I/J) are blocked during the assessment.
- Page exit detection: Navigating away from the assessment page or closing the tab triggers a warning.
- Warning system: Each violation triggers a visible warning. The maximum number of warnings is configurable per assessment (default: 3).
- Auto-submit on maximum violations: If you accumulate the maximum number of warnings, your assessment will be automatically submitted with whatever answers you have provided at that point. No further changes will be possible.
- Assessment-level override: Individual assessments may have their own anti-cheating settings that override the platform-wide default. The specific rules enforced during each assessment are displayed before you begin.
By enrolling in a course, you acknowledge and agree to these anti-cheating measures. You understand that these measures are in place to ensure fair assessment and academic integrity. Attempting to circumvent these measures — including using virtual machines, remote desktops, secondary devices, or browser extensions — is a violation of these terms and may result in disqualification of your submission or cancellation of your enrollment.
8. Certificates
- A certificate is issued only upon successful completion of all required assessments and evaluation by the academic team, and only if the learner achieves the minimum passing score.
- Certificates are issued in the name of the registered learner and are non-transferable.
- Each certificate carries a unique verification UUID that can be used to verify its authenticity on the platform.
- Certificates remain valid indefinitely once issued.
- Codingfigs reserves the right to revoke a certificate if it is found to have been issued based on fraudulent submissions or academic dishonesty.
- Public certificate verification may be subject to a nominal fee as displayed on the verification page.
9. Withdrawal
- You may request withdrawal from a course at any time by submitting a withdrawal request through your course progress page.
- Withdrawal requests are not available for free courses.
- Withdrawal requests are only available for paid courses that have not yet received any submitted assessments, quizzes, or project work.
- Withdrawal requests are subject to review and approval by the administration.
- Upon approved withdrawal, your enrollment is marked as Withdrawn and access to course materials is revoked.
- Refund eligibility for withdrawn enrollments is governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- After withdrawal, you may re-register for the same course subject to Section 4 above.
10. Course Content & Availability
- Course content is provided for educational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice.
- Codingfigs reserves the right to update, modify, or remove course content at any time to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Codingfigs reserves the right to discontinue any course. In the event of discontinuation of a course with active enrollments, affected learners will be notified and a pro-rated refund will be offered.
