A custom web application is only as good as the process behind it. At Codingfigs, we treat every build — whether a SaaS platform, an internal dashboard or a customer portal — as a product that must be secure, testable and maintainable for years.
Our Delivery Process
1. Discovery and Requirements Analysis
Before a single line of code is written, we map the business workflow the software must serve. We document user roles, data rules, integrations and regulatory constraints. This becomes the contract of understanding for the whole engagement.
2. Architecture and Security by Design
We choose a stack fit for the problem — typically Django and React for the core platform, with PostgreSQL for data — and define the architecture before development. Security is designed in from day one: authentication, authorisation, encryption of sensitive data, and audit trails.
3. UI/UX and Development
Design and engineering run in parallel. We build mobile-first interfaces while the backend evolves underneath, using version control and automated tests throughout. APIs are documented from the start so frontend and backend teams keep moving without friction.
4. Testing and Quality Gates
Automated unit, integration and end-to-end tests run on every change. Pull requests go through code review with automated checking for bugs, security issues and performance bottlenecks — much of it AI-assisted.
5. Deployment, CI/CD and Support
Delivery happens through CI/CD pipelines with infrastructure-as-code, so environments are reproducible and rollouts are reversible. After launch we keep supporting the platform — monitoring, patching, feature evolution and performance tuning.
Why It Matters
A disciplined process reduces rework, keeps timelines predictable and produces software your business can depend on. Technology choices matter, but the engineering discipline around them matters more.
